Why I almost said no to a free trip to Belize 🏝️...
I got an email a few months ago from a past client
who knew that we run retreats asking if we would consider running our next retreat in Belize...
I've never been, but heard it's beautiful!
They offered to have me and come and stay at their BEAUTIFUL resort for 5 days totally for free. (I just needed to pay to get there)
What an epic opportunity!
Now…
let me tell you the mental chatter that ensued…
❌ “Belize is far”
❌ “I have a conflict in my calendar"
❌ “It’s free but it's still going to cost a couple grand"
❌ “The only flight leaves at 5am in the morning”
❌ “You can’t leave your family for 5 days”
❌ “You need work and make money... not go on a retreat”
blah blah blah….
And I just observed all these thoughts for a few days...
Realizing just how many excuses I could make to NOT do the thing.
But the F*ck Yes decision became really simple
when I Remembered my bigger vision and the goals that I have my business and life.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Running world-class retreats is definitely one of those goals.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
