The money in your DMs.
I'm going to be honest about something kind of embarrassing. For a long time... my DMs were a disaster. Not like... "oh they were a little messy." More like... "I have no idea who I'm supposed to follow up with, I somehow just lost three conversations, and I'm pretty sure there's money sitting in my inbox that I'll never find." That kind of disaster. And the worst part? I didn't even realize how bad it was. Because I was busy. Coaching. Creating content. Running ads. Doing all the "right" things. Meanwhile, leads were coming into my Skool community every single day... Starting conversations... Asking questions that basically translated to "hey, I might want to pay you"... And I was replying 6... 12... sometimes 72 hours later. By then? Cold. Gone. Moved on. The leaky bucket thing people talk about? Yeah. My DMs were the leak. And I just couldn't see it because I was too busy pouring more water in the top. So here's what I did. 1๏ธโƒฃ First ... I tried to fix it with other software. SMS tools. External CRMs. Stuff that lived outside of Skool. Then I looked at the actual data. And it was staring me in the face... The people who responded inside Skool were the ones actually consuming the content. Engaging in the community. Showing up to calls. They were the buyers. The SMS replies? Mostly noise. So I stopped chasing people outside the building and just built the system inside the building. Tagged everything. Organized every conversation. Automated the follow-ups. And then added an AI agent that responds in seconds ... not hours. Nothing falls through the cracks now. It's genuinely one of the best changes I've made in my business. Anyways... This Friday I'm doing a live workshop on exactly this. It's called The Skool Chat Closerโ„ข and we're building the whole system live. Real community. Real AI agent. Real deployment. $47 to join. Free if you're in Claude for Coaches. Friday, June 26th. 10 AM Pacific.

See you Friday!
spent 5 years on Skool... only recently did it click
I've been on Skool for five years now. Five years of building, tweaking, testing, breaking things, rebuilding things... And honestly? It took me almost all of that time to figure out something embarrassingly simple. My business only needs to do four things. That's it. โœ… Get leads every day. โœ… Get customers every week. โœ… Get clients every month. โœ… Deliver epic results for those clients. That's... the whole thing. And each one just needs a simple system to support it. โŒ Not a funnel stack. โŒ Not 11 tools duct-taped together. โŒ Not a Notion workspace with 117 pages of "strategy." Just... one system. For each thing. When I finally saw it that clearly, I started deleting stuff. Canceling subscriptions. Killing workflows. Stopping activities that felt productive but didn't actually connect to one of those four things. It was terrifying for about a day. Then it was the most free I've felt in years. Here's the wild part... Only NOW ... after five years ... are the tools and features inside Skool good enough that you can run almost everything from one place. The community. The content. The conversations. The conversions. All of it. With a couple of smart add-ons, you've basically got a business operating system that fits in your pocket. Anyway ... This Friday I'm doing a live workshop where I'm showing how one of those systems works... Specifically how to deploy an AI sales agent inside your Skool community that... handles conversations, qualifies leads, and books clients while you're doing literally anything else. It's called The Skool Chat Closerโ„ข and it's $47. (Free if you're already in Claude for Coaches.) Friday, June 26th. 10 AM Pacific. If you want in, Join the Claude For Coaches Community If not, no stress. Just remember the four things. That part's free and it might be worth more than the workshop anyway. Take 'er easy... Keeping Myself Small
You've said it a hundred times (likely more), but something about today made it resonate. In your Coaches Life Lab presentation you talked about the goal for $10k a month being outdated. It was ideal 20 years ago, but the reality of inflation is that $50k a month is more realistic, and should be the MINIMUM goal now. The way you said it made me realize that in thinking $10k a month was a good goal, I'm telling myself small. I'm worth so much more. $10k a month is only $120k a year, which doesn't go very far in 2026. So I'm finally making the mindset shift. I'm worth more than $10k a month.

Instagram deleted my account.... I made $71k last month anyway.
60 days ago, Instagram disabled my account. 25,000 followers, my entire retargeting pixel audience, every DM conversation ... gone overnight. No real explanation. Instead of panicking (okay, I panicked a little), I rebuilt my lead generation from scratch. The result? My best revenue month of the year so: $71,000. And closer to my goal of building a 7-figure ai-run coaching business. Without Instagram. I just made a video breaking down exactly what happened, what I tried, and the traffic streams that replaced Instagram entirely: comment IG if you want the pdf I walk through
