WHY DO YOU EXIST? This is deep…
For the last several years, I’ve found myself asking a question that I don’t remember anyone ever asking me in seminary:
Why do human beings exist?
Not just what are we supposed to do? Not just how do we discover purpose? But what is the actual science behind divine assignment? Why were we created in the first place? And if humanity was created for assignment, then what is salvation actually restoring?
The more I’ve studied Scripture, theology, history, and the Kingdom of God, the more I’ve realized there’s an area that I believe deserves far more attention than it has received.
I’ve started calling it Vocatiology… the science of assignments.
This isn’t a finished doctrine. It isn’t a polished curriculum. It’s the beginning of a lifelong pursuit. I genuinely believe this may become one of the most important studies of my life, and, by God’s grace, one of the greatest contributions I ever make to the Body of Christ.
I just recorded a completely candid voice note. No outline. No production. Just me thinking out loud and sharing the foundational ideas that have been stirring in my heart.
It’s personal. It’s raw. It’s unfinished.
But I wanted to let my mentorship family hear it first.
If you have a little time today, I’d love for you to listen. Then come back and tell me what stood out to you. What questions did it raise? What resonated? What challenged you?
This conversation is only beginning, and I’d love for you to be part of building it with me.
Let’s think deeply.
Let’s search the Scriptures.
And let’s discover why God created humanity in the first place.
