For almost THREE YEARS, I’ve been praying, dreaming, and ideating about creating something called FEED THE PEOPLE! For the last few months, we’ve been working tirelessly to bring this vision to life. And then… THIS HAPPENED! 😩 Literally, while I was in service on Sunday, I received a call from the owner of our venue informing me that a WATER PIPE HAD BURST in the building and we would have to RESCHEDULE THE ENTIRE EVENT! Y’all… I was DISHEARTENED! Not discouraged. Not defeated. But definitely disappointed. After all the planning, preparation, promotion, and anticipation, we were literally HOURS away from seeing something I’ve carried for YEARS finally become a reality. But then I started thinking… WHAT IF THE DELAY IS ACTUALLY AN ADVANTAGE? What if God is giving me more time to prepare? More time to perfect the vision? More time to make something good even BETTER? I’m learning that you can be disappointed without being defeated. You can experience a setback without abandoning your assignment. Sometimes the delay isn’t denying your destiny. It’s developing your capacity to carry it! And I want to ask you something: How do YOU handle disappointment? How do you respond when something you’ve prayed for, prepared for, and worked toward suddenly gets delayed? Hey family! Happy Monday! I've been on the road quite a bit lately, and the Lord has been incredibly kind. The favor of God has been opening some amazing doors! Last week, we were in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Dallas ministering, and it was absolutely powerful. I know I've been a little quiet in here, so forgive me for not checking in as much. But I also believe that giving you all a little breather after an intense course is healthy. Sometimes you need a moment to process everything you've received before jumping into the next thing.
