What's your WARM UP?
WHAT’S YOUR WARM-UP? Hey, I miss y’all. For real. It’s good to tap back in with this group. I’ve been in a heavy season... pressure, production, building, but I want to make sure I’m still giving you something practical, not just inspirational. Let’s talk about the zone. The zone is that state where everything clicks. Where your mind is clear. Your confidence is stable. Your creativity flows. Your focus locks in. It’s where distraction dies and execution lives. Athletes call it being “locked in.” Creatives feel it when ideas just start pouring. In the Spirit, it’s that place where you’re aligned, sensitive, and moving with clarity and power. The zone is not random. It’s entered. And what I’m learning is this: You don’t just show up in the zone… you warm up into it. Before any great performance, there’s preparation. Before any deep focus, there’s alignment. Before any productivity, there’s a ritual. So here’s the question: What’s your warm-up? What do you do to get your mind right? Your spirit focused? Your body ready? Is it prayer? Music? Silence? Movement? Journaling? Or are you just trying to jump straight into performance without preparation? I want you to become a master of entering the zone on demand. Because the people who win in life aren’t just talented… They know how to get ready on command. 👇🏾 Drop it in the chat: What’s your warm-up routine before you step into your assignment?

My warmup starts with clearing my mind and my thoughts. I begin my days with prayer and being still so that I am clear about God's direction. I also like to sing so like on a Saturday morning I will turn up my music on and sing out loud. I have been doing indoor walking as part of my walking routine to start my day. Pollen is not my friend so I stay inside. In this season, i am doing a lot of reading and studying. I am in the 90day bible challenge. This has been helping me to stay focused on what is important.
Mentorship Assignment: How Do You Deal with Discouragement?
Let’s talk honestly today. Every creative. Every leader. Every builder. Every person who is trying to do something meaningful with their life will eventually face discouragement. There will be days when motivation disappears, when the excitement fades, and when the vision feels heavier than usual. But one of the most powerful things about this community is that we don’t have to face those moments alone. Your testimony, your strategy, your mindset, your faith, and your practical habits may be exactly what someone else in this group needs to hear today. So here’s today’s assignment: Tell us how you deal with discouragement. When you feel tired… When you feel unmotivated… When you feel like quitting… What helps you get back up? Do you pray? Do you take a break? Do you change your environment? Do you remind yourself of your purpose? Do you go back to the vision God gave you? Drop your answer in the comments and be honest. Your response might encourage someone else who is quietly fighting the same battle. Let’s help each other today. 💬

First i go before God and I pray. (Psalm121: 1-2) I also change my environment and shift my focus. I will go for a walk or play music. That helps to shift my perspective and open my mind to new ideas and strategies for what I am working on
RESULTS CHECK-IN — 30 Days of Not Giving a C*RE
Alright… let’s talk about it. For the past 30 days we challenged ourselves to stop overthinking, stop hiding, and simply show up and post. No perfection. No excuses. Just consistency and courage. Now I want to hear from you. How did your 30 days of not giving a C*RE go? • What did you learn about yourself? • How did it feel to show up consistently? • Did it stretch you? Grow you? Challenge your confidence? • What surprised you about the process? • And the big question… are you going to keep going? Drop your reflections in the comments. Wins, struggles, insights — all of it. This challenge was never just about posting. It was about breaking the fear of being seen and stepping into your voice. Let’s talk about the results.

TBH i was scared at first but it totally pulled me out of my comfort zone and I look back at the journey with great appreciation. About a year ago I started a FB family group chat where i would go LIVE once per month. Back then it literally felt like I was preparing for something and here we are. 😂. I still feel like this experience is preparing us all in this group for bigger things in our lives. Yesterday I had to do a closing prayer for a brief parent meeting at church. Talk about stretched! Today I am more comfortable with speaking up and putting myself in front of the camera. I will keep going...maybe not everyday but consistently posting
