Tantrums

Hi everyone, I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. My 5 yo didn’t go through the 2’s with tantrums, never really bit or hit. My 2 year old is definitely going through the 2’s, wants to be the boss of everyone, hitting, shouting, rolling in the floor. She’s generally well behaved though. My 5 yo has now decided to join his sister in this behaviour mainly when he’s frustrated so if he’s trying to create something that doesn’t go to plan or doesn’t get his own way he’s now decided to do the same. He gets taken to his room and has to sit down until he’s calmed down. When I ask him if his behaviour was appropriate he will say no and apologise so he knows he shouldn’t be doing it. I read him books about controlling anger and talk to him about it at various points when he’s not frustrated but he is still defaulting to this behaviour at home. I’m not really sure what else to do.
