I'll be starting a mini series here where I post short informational videos about performance training for kicking and punting. In part 1 we are talking about our intended adaptations (WHAT ARE WE TRAINING FOR?)
To me there are 3 that stand out:
- Control/Stability
- Mobility
- Power
We need to consider these things, or whatever specific adaptation you are looking for, before we begin to lay out a plan for our training. In part 2 we will talk more specifically about what it takes to to gain these adaptations!
