Let’s talk diet — and let’s keep it real.
Every grappler I know eats a little different.
Gerardo is vegan 🌱.
Shawn is basically carnivore 🥩.
And me? I’m somewhere in chaos 😂
I usually eat one meal a day, normally dinner. I’ll train, not eat much (or at all), then I’m starving and end up smashing fast food. I don’t meal prep, don’t really cook, and honestly don’t love home-cooked food. Might be the dishes, might be my cooking skills, might just be who I am 🤷♂️
I drink an energy drink a day… well, sometimes two 😅
And somehow it’s still working:
- I’m losing weight
- Gaining muscle
- Training consistently
That said, I do wonder how much better my performance would be with a more dialed-in diet.
