The hardest part of joining a US Credit Unions is the "eligibility" requirement. This simple hack bypasses that completely.
By joining the American Consumer Council (ACC), you gain instant eligibility for dozens of major Credit Unions (like DCU, BCU, and NASA FCU). Many of these Credit Unions are ITIN-friendly, offering low APR credit cards and often high limits + options for secured loans and credit cards.
How to do it for FREE:
- Sign up: Go to americanconsumercouncil.org and choose Individual Membership.
- Use Promo Code: Enter "consumer" at checkout to drop the $15 fee to $0.
- The Proof: Save the membership certificate they email you. You’ll may need to upload this when applying for your new bank accounts.
