Net-30 Vendors
Now we get into the part everyone talks about… Net-30 accounts
What is Net-30?
It simply means you buy something today and have 30 days to pay.
If the vendor reports your payment, it becomes a tradeline on your business credit.
Why do we need them?
Because at the beginning, you have no tradelines.
No tradelines = no profile
No profile = no approvals
Net-30 vendors are usually the easiest way to start building that history.
My experience (real talk)
I tried going straight for the “good” ones like:
• Uline
• Newegg
• Others
Got rejected.
Not because the business is bad — but because I had zero tradelines.
So I had to start with the “starter” vendors:
• Office Garner
• Coast to Coast Office Supply
• Nine to Five Essentials
• JJ Gold
• Crown Office Supplies
These are easier to get, but let’s be honest…
👉 You will likely pay for overpriced products or subscriptions
👉 Some feel like you’re just paying to build credit
That’s just part of the game in the beginning.
Important point
Not all vendors are equal when it comes to reporting.
Some report consistently.
Some barely report.
For example, Amazon has not been reliable (from what I’ve seen so far).
So always ask:
👉 Does this vendor actually report? And where?
What I did to simplify things
I summarized a list of Net-30 vendors + which bureaus they report to, based on data from Nav Prime.
Sharing it here free for everyone — hopefully saves you time and trial & error.
(see attached list)
This should help you start building your first tradelines faster.
