A little bit of exciting news… For the past few years, I’ve been quietly working away on a book. It’s called Focus Without Force: A Nervous System Approach to Attention, Overwhelm and Change. What began as notes, ideas and observations gradually grew into something much bigger. The book explores why so many of us struggle with focus, procrastination, overwhelm and motivation—not because we’re lazy or lacking willpower, but because there is often far more going on beneath the surface than we realise. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, it offers a compassionate alternative to the “just try harder” approach that so many people have heard their entire lives. The manuscript is now complete and I’m beginning to gather a small group of advance readers. I’m looking for people who would be willing to read an advance copy, share honest feedback and, if they enjoy the book, consider leaving a review when it is published. You don’t need to be an expert. I’m particularly interested in hearing from thoughtful readers who are interested in attention, overwhelm, emotional wellbeing, personal growth, or simply understanding themselves and others a little better. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, please comment below or send me a message. And if you’d simply like to be among the first to hear when the book is released, you can join the waiting list here: https://www.thriveadhdcoaching.uk/books/ Writing a book can feel like a very solitary journey at times, so sharing this feels both exciting and slightly nerve-wracking. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way. Your support has meant more than you know. Janine
