Kombucha Up Date
For those of you follow along and making some kombucha with me, here is a quick update on how the scoby looks. It looks like it will probably take a few weeks for this to be strong enough but will see.

Kombucha
Last week I told you guys to purchase a bottle ok kombucha if you want to learn how to make it. This week I'm going to show you how to get a scoby or mother going and how to set your first batch. Here's a video explaining the whole process. The recipe is 4 Liters of water (non chlorinated) 5 green tea bags 2 black tea bags ( I always use earl gray) 1 cup sugar 1 cup kombucha from a previous batch Let it ferment for 1 week To start the scoby 1/2 bottle good quality kombucha (I use synergy) 1 tbsp sugar This takes a week or so

This Weeks Focus
Ok better late then never, this week I want to focus on starting a Kombucha Scobey. Here is your homework, it's really simple, buy a bottle of kombucha from the store. You need to make sure it has the mother in it, it will say this on the bottle. We're going to use a store bought kombucha to make a mother or scoby. Let me know here if you've done you home work and I'll make a video showing you wat to do next.
