Welcome to Homesteading Made Simple
Welcome everyone to Homesteading Made Simple, please introduce yourself. Let everyone know where you're from, what your experience leve is, and what you hope to learn here in our community. I'll go first, my name is Megan, I live on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada on a little 2 acre homestead we call Sun Twist Acres. I've been homesteading for almost 15 years, we grow a majority of our own food and preserve it here on the homestead. We have chickens and ducks for eggs and meat, and goats for milk and meat. We have raised pigs, turkeys, and geese in the past. I teach, canning, basic cooking skills, soapmaking, cheese making, bread making, gardening, animal husbandry, and more. Through this community I hope to pass on the knowledge I have spent many years perfecting so others who dream of a life like this can achieve it. Welcome and thank you so much for joining me here, this community is your safe place to grow and learn real skills for real life. Now it's your turn🥰

@Erica Guisinger wow Erica that incredible to go it alone. Sounds like you've got a good system worked out. I'm working on some masterclasses for things like sourdough, egg incubation, and soap making. I'm really busy with the farm amd my job right now but I'm trying to get some stuff on here.
Garden 🪴
Finally got the starters planted and the ones I had to buy. What’s everyone else’s garden looking like? Excited for anything? We happened to find the peppers they use in Tabasco sauce and my oldest son and I are going to attempt to make some.
