That was me.
Struggled with adhd for over 18 years
Depression for 10 years
Anxiety for 10 plus years
chronic pain for 15 years
Some of the days would be fine but then my pain or anxiety or depression would kick in..
and it would send me spiraling.
I would try a new therapy or specialist and go in with the mindset that it wasn’t going to work. And the thing was a lot of them didn’t work because they didn’t get at the root cause
But that mindset of: “yeah they might be able to fix these problems, but I am different” kept me from trying to overcome these problems for a long time.
So I just started to cope with these problems because I didn’t think it was possible
So I tried to suppress them.
But each time something went wrong in my life the problems and symptoms I face got worse.
It got to the point the pain and anxiety was so extreme that I no choice but to keep searching.
I spent over 6 years in that search and broke myself free.
I thought it was impossible to break free from what I was facing.
If your are thinking that it’s not possible, know that it is possible.
