something that has really helped me
Hello, one and all! I wanted to leave a helpful tidbit I've been discovering in case in helps along any other wandering soul.
I've really tried to have a "leave the area better than I left it" mindset, even if that's just throwing away a piece of trash, picking up a large crumb off the floor, wiping away a little stain on my floor, the list goes on. Just ONE, teeeeeeny tiny little thing that is better now than when I walked in. I swear this kicks my ADHD brain into gear and I'll just start being insanely productive almost mindlessly. It's crazy what I can get done in just a few minutes. I've found i have to limit myself with timers some days! This works for everything. A kind smile at someone where maybe there weren't any in a room. A comment where maybe there wasn't one on a post, or even just a like on a post. A penny in a tip jar. A bite of protein or sip of water, a hug with my kids, one matched sock, one "thank you" to the universe or another person for something small, one page in a book or a new little curious bit of knowledge I never knew before.
