I went from 6 hours of screen time to 0 and THIS happened…
Last Sunday I went out to the creek with some friends of mine… They are a husband and wife duo who also have a business similar to mine We hung out for about 5 hours and talked about business, life, spirituality and more Towards the end I asked them what shows they are watching and I could tell from their response… They hardly watch t.v… That night after they left I did some reflection and checked my phone to see my screentime… 6 hours a day! Much of which is instagram scrolling and random nonsense things that don’t add value to my life I made the choice in that realization and from now on… NO instagram scrolling, NO nightly hours of watching shows and Youtube videos… My total screen time went from around 8-9 hours a day… To almost 0… And I can not even begin to express to you how much this has changed my life… I mean it’s only been 5 days! My feel SO much more grounded, my sleep is WAY deeper, I am more inspired in my business, I feel more connected to nature and people in my life and MORE It’s also a form of dopamine detox I am going through… And in its place is the oxytocin of being in nature and being present Now when I eat… instead of watching youtube videos… I eat in silence and focus on enjoying my food… The result? Better digestion and more satisfaction I go out in nature and ground myself multiple times a day and sit in the sun The result? Emotions feel more regulated and I feel connected to nature and my intuition I am considering running a 14 day Social Media and Consuming DETOX challenge to help others reconnect to themselves and the moment Would you want to join? If you are interested comment on the post and let me know! The time of my day when I normally watch shows is the time when I now read I’m re reading Autobiography of a Yogi one (of my favorite books) Anyways this email would be 5X as long if I shared everything about this so I’ll stop here for now lol Talk to you soon! Much love, Aaron p.s on Monday I will be releasing a video on the results of 7 days of being FREE of social media scrolling and netflix etc… that outlines my experience, what I did and how to do a mini version of it without completely cutting it out

I feel like I don't watch shows or TV much, but I am using my phone to either Google random stuff to learn or I'm on Skool socializing. Hmmmmm
it's Thursday! here, have some poetry
puff goes the pipe or was that the chimney? Either way, home's filled up with smoke did she light it on fire that devilish arson or was she merely trying to keep warm she's lit a match and now tried to detach from everything left in her wake then it's off to bed where dreams fill her head is she evil or merely a person puff, puff goes the little train engine, or was that just exhaust from the car? With a puff of the chest, oh jesst give it a rest We can't all breathe deeply just yet almost there, think i can, says little engine just need a little more coal up the bend, round the mountain she'll soon find the fountain of cliches that just never end should she dare hope or is she still in Neverland she's told in class what she meant was the Netherlands either way, she longs for the sky was home a-fire all along? she isn't quite shore for she dreams of the beach and sea shells galore my lands, aren't they so pretty give it some wit or perhaps some grit elbow grease is all in the wrist
just a little message 🥰
after last week's blood moon, here's a little message for ya because that moon was sure full on mooning, and mooning hard for a lot of us, myself included! 🌕

@David Tommy oh, I was just joking a bit, but I see your point. You're right! I usually blame myself and I don't have to do that either lol
did you ever have an imaginary friend?
i recently saw that imaginary friends are in fact real, yet we're told it's just a phase, they're just our imagination and we'll grow out of it... personally, i've never had one but i find myself talking to myself out loud most days - am i just talking to my inner child or somebody else, like a higher being? it fascinates me because we're told that the moment we talk out loud to ourselves then we're crazy and need carting off in white coats! 🙃 so, what are your thoughts? have you ever had an "imaginary" friend?

@David Tommy this resonates, my parents put a mirror in my crib when i was young, they said I talked to myself a lot...... interesting

@David Tommy yeah, that's what I meant, like I'd talk to my reflection when I was very young
something that has really helped me
Hello, one and all! I wanted to leave a helpful tidbit I've been discovering in case in helps along any other wandering soul. I've really tried to have a "leave the area better than I left it" mindset, even if that's just throwing away a piece of trash, picking up a large crumb off the floor, wiping away a little stain on my floor, the list goes on. Just ONE, teeeeeeny tiny little thing that is better now than when I walked in. I swear this kicks my ADHD brain into gear and I'll just start being insanely productive almost mindlessly. It's crazy what I can get done in just a few minutes. I've found i have to limit myself with timers some days! This works for everything. A kind smile at someone where maybe there weren't any in a room. A comment where maybe there wasn't one on a post, or even just a like on a post. A penny in a tip jar. A bite of protein or sip of water, a hug with my kids, one matched sock, one "thank you" to the universe or another person for something small, one page in a book or a new little curious bit of knowledge I never knew before. Give it a go and let me know how it goes, I love to read about cool stuff that happens to people. Have a happy day, people, choose joy and soak it all in...... ♡♥︎●○•°•○●♥︎♡
