Breathwork? What? How? Why?
Most of us try to change our lives by talking to our conscious mind.
We read the books.
We repeat the affirmations.
We journal.
We make vision boards.
Meanwhile...
Our subconscious is quietly in the back like:
"That's adorable. Anyway... let's do what we've done for the last 20 years." 😅
Here's the fascinating part.
Your subconscious doesn't respond best to information. It responds to state.
When your nervous system shifts from constant "doing mode" into a calmer state, your brain becomes more receptive to new patterns. That's why a simple breathing practice can sometimes create changes that willpower alone struggles to produce.
Try this for just 3 minutes:
🌬️ Inhale through your nose.
🌬️ Take a tiny second sip of air at the top.
🌬️ Slowly exhale through your mouth... longer than your inhale.
Repeat.
No magic.
No forcing.
Just giving your brain permission to stop sprinting for a few minutes.
And here's my favorite part...
You're not trying to become a different person.
You're creating enough inner space to choose your response instead of automatically repeating yesterday's.
A regulated nervous system doesn't make life perfect.
It simply gives you a chance to answer life instead of letting your old programming answer for you.
Three minutes today.
Three minutes tomorrow.
Sometimes the biggest transformation begins with the smallest pause... and a really long exhale. 💙
Have you ever noticed how differently you think after just a few minutes of conscious breathing?
Inspired by the attached video.
✨ Just 7 minutes. One simple breathing practice. A completely different relationship with your mind, your nervous system, and your life.
