If you are like most people I work with, you've likely spent years trying to tame your overactive mind through self-help, therapy or working on yourself. You've tried to quiet it, improve it, control it… only to find, years later, that the mind is still as busy as ever. Click the 'Classroom' tab above to unlock two free resources which offer a completely different approach to making peace with an overactive mind. Start by watching the one-hour Masterclass '5 Simple Ways to Instantly Make Peace with a Troubled Mind'. This explains clearly why trying to fix the mind only makes it stronger... and what to do instead. Dip into my book 'Kick the Thinking habit' which offers step-by-step guidance from inner turmoil to inner peace. Then post all of your comments, questions and lightbulb moments on the community page. I'll be there every day personally responding. The peace you're looking for is much closer than you think. My goal is to help you realise that. If you'd like deeper support, my private community Freedom from the Mind offers a clear step-by-step pathway to inner freedom... with weekly live calls and ongoing personal support.
Inspiring quote
I came across this quote from a YouTube comment and it really spoke to me. I don't know the author. "Be wary of thoughts, because it's purely reactionary, and follows the body. I practiced this in my day-to-day life today and it helped stay more present to the people around me. There was one point when I was the most present in the room and my dad and brother were both on their mobile phones and I had no-one to talk to lol 🤣. I hope this quote can give someone else relief too.

Introduction
Hey everyone! I’m Josh from NH. I joined because I play piano and teach free piano lessons. However, I overthink about how I want to transition into teaching full time. Looking forward to learning more and getting to know everyone!
How's the Mind? And How are You?
This is one of the questions I always ask on my weekly group coaching calls. When the mind is overactive, negative or self-critical, most people suffer as a result. Why is this? We suffer, not because the mind is troublesome but because we believe it shouldn't be. Read that again! We believe that if the mind is not quiet and peaceful, there's something wrong. What if, instead of fighting or resisting the the content of the mind, you could simply allow it to be as it is? What if you were OK with anxious thoughts appearing? They would affect your peace nearly as much, right? So here's my question to you. How is the mind right now? And how are you? How are you in relation to the thoughts that appear in your head? This is where freedom lies. Comment below.
