After seeing @Susan Maughan's latest RAMBO 2 post, I wanted to ask: WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO AT THE GYM TO HELP YOU GET IN THE ZONE? Do you just go with the background gym music, or do you have a go-to artist, playlist, or album? I’m doing a marathon-distance event on Sunday and want to refresh my playlist for when the going gets tough - probably around miles 18-24 when I won’t feel like chatting to my mate! I heard some “banging tunes” during my weekly session with Ethan recently - there was a group class underway - but it was all quite modern, and I had no idea who it was! @Ethan Harris seemed to be enjoying it (he’s about 15 years younger than me and clearly in with the cool crowd!). ^ I've been meaning to ask this for ages! :-)
Question: Porridge Oats?
Hi All, For breakfast, I usually have a medium-sized banana with a sachet of Quaker Oats So Simple Hazelnut Chocolate Porridge (about 250 calories). What does everyone else have for breakfast? Has anyone tried making 'overnight oats'? I’m thinking they might be a better option than the pre-flavoured sachets, which probably contain more sugar than I’d like. Ages ago I made a bulk purchase of these sachets, and now that I’m running low, I want to rethink my approach. Maybe using frozen berries would be a better alternative too. Any thoughts or tips? What kind of porridge do you go for, how do you prep it, and can it be easily flavoured? Basic question but I've never done it so would like some guidance! Cheers

Hi @Ethan Harris, this finally arrived today! Instructions say to take it 30 mins before and/or after exercise.... But, can this be used also as a means for "topping up" protein on non-exercise/rest days? I need to up my general protein intake, so hoping this helps with daily targets. P.S. @Hannah Smith I picked up some of those Brooklea Protein Puddings (20g per pot) you'd recommended from Aldi. Tried the caramel flavour and they're actually not bad! To the rest of the group: If you've any other protein ideas, let me know! Cheers
