Welcome to Hardline Fitness!
Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Jon, I’m a Lehigh Valley “native”, and am looking to impact the community and beyond in a meaningful way. Fitness has been apart of my life since I was 12 years old, I have accomplished immense goals over my life in the space, learned an abundance of information, and want to share those learnings with you! What’s in a name? Why Hardline? Hardline- adj. “uncompromising, rigidly holding to a set of beliefs”. Anyone who knows me knows I cannot be coerced into changing my stance on most things in life. Fitness is one of them. Leadership is another. To do the hard things in life, we must cross a certain line. It’s being uncomfortable, facing truth, and accepting accountability. Most of us have struggled with aspects pertaining to this lifestyle. Sometimes, it’s help and guidance that you need but have been too prideful to ask. And that, is exactly why I am here. Drop a message, introduce yourself, tell me what it is you’re looking for here in Hardline Fitness!
Staying on track with the holidays
I hope everyone had a merry Christmas! What are y’all doing to stay on track with this holiday stretch filled with goodies and treats? Staying on the same regiment? Adding more cardio? I found myself implementing some HIIT and really trying to monitor calorie intake throughout the days a bit more than I normally do. Starting the day off strong with 100+ g of protein and just keep moving. 10k steps regularly throughout the work days also helps!

Tuesday Therapy
Got the pleasure of joining one of my great friends in alternating cold plunge and sauna on this brisk evening. I feel fantastic although a bit cold lol What does everyone do for recovery? More importantly to reduce stress? Stress and high cortisol levels is known to contribute to fat and weight gain, and worse, can shorten your life. As someone who has functioned under high stress for years, it’s become something I’ve gotten more proactive about. Even this sauna and cold plunge, while shocking the body, the company kept and dialogue was calming and relaxing. I have found myself seeking a more peaceful and quiet life over constantly being stimulated. As I write this, wife and daughters are snuggled up in bed with me and it doesn’t get any better than this. Share your stress management tips, hacks, what you do for recovery, or even what areas of your life you may struggle with contributing to stress and lack of recovery! Get after it, be blessed!
Snow Day!
What’s everyone’s day looking like? Still getting that workout in? Shoveling the workout of the day? I cleared our blocks sidewalks, listening to church online with the sick kids, and hitting the gym. Waiting on the call to go shovel 30+ properties around Allentown today. Stay warm, stay safe, get after it!
