"Meditation is the practice of training your mind to focus on one thing at a time, and to be fully present in the moment. People who meditate report learning to quiet the constant chatter of their minds and experience more calm and serenity." And I'm the living proof of that. My life has completely changed since I started meditating. I used to be always busy, stressed, nervous, anxious, with a million thoughts in my head (mostly negative and self-critical). The chatter would never stop, no matter what I did. Now, I'm more peaceful than ever, with more energy, love, and excitement for life than ever. And it's not because I stopped thinking (I wish I could stop my brain sometimes!), but it's because meditation taught me how to separate myself from my thoughts and feelings and observe them before I let them rule my life. Do I still have negative thoughts? Sure, but I can see them from a distance, catch them, and I have the power to decide if I want to keep them or bin them and bring in new, uplifting thoughts. It's like realising that you are in a spiral of the same thoughts over and over and over again that create the same feelings inside you, that lead to the same emotions, that will dictate your actions, that will lead you to the same outcome every single time - until you can finally catch yourself doing it and pull yourself out of the loop. Only you can help yourself. No one else. And meditation can make you your best therapist, supporter, and savior from your negative loops, programings and patterns. Monday Mindful Meditation for Healing Tonight at 9.30 pm CET. I'd love to see you there ♥️ https://youtube.com/live/kuOvKocKHTk?feature=share
