Peptide to heal deep internal tissue from an old animal bite?

What research peptides are best for internal wound healing for an animal bite to the upper side wrist that occurred 6 months ago? The wounds are healed on the outside and my wrist, hands, and fingers are fully functional; however it hurts if pressure is applied to the scars. Is surgery the only option?
