Audiobooks: Human vs. AI-narrated
Surprising but predictable results: in blind tests, customers prefer AI-narrated books, yet prefer to purchase human-made ones.
This is a great example of the current state of the industry: the quality of generative tools' production has leveled up with or exceeded average human levels. Yet, most customers still prefer to read or listen to a fellow human.
Experience and taste - these two elements are necessary to produce a valuable product, and no tool can substitute them.
