Is It Possible to Run Ads Successfully without Reviews?
I hope the data in the screenshot answers this question well enough. This is just the 7th day of the campaign, and the conversion rate is more than 19%. Hear me correctly: I do not mean to say that reviews are not important. Quite the opposite, I am sure reviews are essential for success. But do not let the absence of reviews (yet) stop you from actively promoting your book. And next, to get a very good deal for the BookVillage review platform, use the link https://bookvillage.pub/?via=guild Have you had experience with good book sales without reviews, or with a minimal number of them?

Do you have less sales over the weekend?
I'm noticing this trend, and was wondering if this happens to you too. I guess it may be niche-related, but I'm curious...

Amazon printshops are usually not working too much over the weekend, so either now or just a few paperbacks get delivered.
Just completed another formatting project — sharing the full interior of You Are Who God Says You Are by Grace Walder. 📖
This is a Christian self-help devotional book formatted for Amazon KDP print. Here's what the project involved: → Title page — bold, elegant, ornamental → Copyright — scripture disclaimer included → Table of Contents — dot leaders, bold chapter names → Author's Note + Introduction + Letter to Reader → 8 full chapters with subheadings and scriptures → Devotional reflections, tables, numbered exercises → Conclusion + About the Author The entire formatting was completed within a day. The following day was used for proofreading, finalizing the layout, and making sure every detail was perfect before delivery. --- One thing I learned on this project — thanks to my mentor @Igor O who pointed this out: Instead of converting a colored image to grayscale for print, the better approach is to REDUCE THE VIBRANCE AND SATURATION of the colored image. This preserves more detail, gives better tonal range, and produces a cleaner result in print than a straight grayscale conversion. I didn't know this before. Now I do — and it shows in the final output. --- The client and I are still discussing the book cover. Once it is finalized and ready, I will upload it here as well. Drop any questions below 👇 Happy to help anyone working on their own formatting.

Looks good, only concern is the white cover not getting enough attention in Amazons SERPs. Or is the competition so colorful, that white stands out?

Just finished this one — sharing for anyone who wants to see what a fully formatted non-fiction book looks like before it hits Amazon KDP.
Here's another completed project — this one is a self-help psychology book. Sharing so you can see what professional interior formatting looks like for non-fiction. 📚 Kill Who You Were by Levi Thornehart Amazon KDP | Print PDF + Kindle EPUB What was formatted: → Title page — bold, minimal, publisher quality → Copyright — fully compliant → Table of contents — clean hierarchy with dot leaders → Introduction — powerful hook typography → Part openers — dramatic full-panel design with oversized chapter numbers → Chapter spreads — drop caps, justified columns, consistent leading throughout The design matched the book's tone — bold, psychological, no fluff. Both print PDF and EPUB delivered. Passed KDP first upload. ✅ --- Something I noticed working on both these projects back to back: Fiction and non-fiction need completely different interior design approaches. Fiction = subtle, traditional, immersive Non-fiction = bold, structured, scannable Most formatting mistakes happen when people treat them the same way. Drop any questions below 👇

Looks really nic eand professional. Q: is the word "Contents" the only colorful part in the book or are there also color graphics/photos inside? I am asking because of the cost associated with printing color in KDP.
Published my first 2 high content books 💎❤️‍🔥🔥
Context, I didn’t start writing books to look up best sellers on Amazon and copy them to make money (no offense to anyone )I started writing self help books in Oct 2025 for men and boys without guidance ,but learning about book bounty basically paying $4.99 for a review and having to read low quality books for fake reviews just to get 20 to start running ads was alot ingenious behavior I couldn’t sleep with , I ended up going with Lulu and plan to read a chapter of my books live on TikTok ,twitch and instagram daily to get eyes on the prize . How long does Lulu usually take to complete global distribution and does it still end up on Amazon and Barnes and noble when it’s complete ? any advice about Lulu much appreciated thanks everyone

Quick question about author names: why did you publish both books unter the same name? The topics (in my eye) are completely different and could irritate the consumer.

Still kind of beginner, even though I started in 2020. Just celebrating my 5th anniversary on KDP. Aiming for treating this more like a business. 9771
