This year, as soon as the first seed heads set I'm planning on growing microgreens from them. Personally I love dandelions, only this morning I saw a patch of the bright yellow flowers then as an afterthought noticed the daffodils growing in amongst them, not explored all the herbal applications of this plant yet but I understand that they bring up nutrients from deep in the soil via their tap roots .

What the best beginner starter setup for microgreens off Amazon? I’m in Canada and want to start growing microgreens. Go soil less?

A weird and interesting crop! Down the list for me to grow but I’ve had chefs by this off me before! It’s a sweet tasting plant due to the lack of chlorophyll and then a bitter taste. I’ve seen chefs use it on deserts in the US and Canada, any more information from anyone in the community I welcomed! 🍿

I’m looking at growing and selling microgreens. How long are they good for once harvested? I’d like to freeze dry them and turn into green powder if they don’t sell. What is the most popular variety?
