What attracted you to this Group?
I want to know! Like you Skool is new but my experience is great across a few sectors! I grow systems not just gardens! 📈 I’ve had a lot of success growing Gardens in Residential 🏡& Commercial🏙️ Design and fitted urban spaces to grow Mushrooms 🍄&Microgreens 🌱 Drop a subject and let’s tailor this experience around you and your needs. I want to teach you how to grow but also the systems on why and how we look at it so it weaves together. I’ve found that a lot of the secrets to life are woven into a garden and I’m learning daily and it constantly blows me away 🤯

A man after my own heart! This is what I’m using right now, but I like the photo storage box even better. And I LOVE the idea of of using the drying packets!
Whose sown their seeds?
If your ‘Yes’ then show me your results so far If your in camp ‘not yet’ Im with you on some of the Mediterranean seeds! When I had my market garden I used to be on it this time of year but around Valentine’s Day is a great day to do your tomatoes and last time to do aubergine, peppers and chillies unless you have heat mats! I challenge you guys to send me your updates and let’s cheer each other on!

a more accurate question might be What am I NOT growing this year? I have a lot of herbs and veggies planned for this year. I'm expanding my garden a lot this year and will be doing a ton of herbs, greens, tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, different types of squash, sugar baby watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and probably more that I'm not remembering off hand.

You already answered a few questions onboarding but we want to get to know you, your space and troubleshoot together! We may have the same issues or even use the same suppliers! Step 1 - tell us about about you and where your located and the climate in your zone! Step 2 - tell us the dream you wish to achieve this year in your garden, farm, urban garden 🌱 Step 3 - pictures! We want a lovely grid of pictures! Whether it’s the before of your space (we can all chip in with ideas) or beautiful snaps of years and success prior! I’ll start 1.) My names Jack, owner of Jacks Patch I’m a Permaculture Designer from London, UK 🇬🇧 if your unsure what that means I like to describe it as building edible gardens, I’m like Willy wonka for plants. I’ve been into this since working on a permaculture farm in Australia where I discovered what farm fresh food taste like! That lead me on a journey to study more in Costa Rica and then come home to set up my own Permaculture market garden outside London supplying chefs 🧑‍🍳cafes 💪☕️and locals with rare species and heirloom organic produce 🍆🍎. I also have a shipping container which I converted into a grow room where I grow Microgreens 🌱 and mushroom! 🍄 Our climate is moderate so I’m well in tune with moderate climates but also been working in Portugal 🇵🇹as of last year which is Mediterranean 🫒 to Sub Tropical 🍍crops 2.) For me it’s starting and carrying on the development of clients gardens! My personal goals this year is to, grow this community, collab, teach and really just help you all achieve your goals and beyond 🚀 3.) pictures below

I’m Betsy and this will be my 3rd year as a gardener. Before that I was a plant killer. I had a couple id been able to keep alive for years, but they are quite forgiving and have almost died numerous times over the years. I’m in Raleigh, NC in the states and am in zone 8A. Summers briefly get pretty hot and winters briefly get pretty cold (sometimes). Sometimes I swear the weather has multiple personality disorder. This year I’m doing the Even Greater Garden Expansion. Last year I put two large raised beds in my back yard. This year, I’m adding three more in ground beds and a platform with paving stones to put my grow bags on for my potatoes (way easier to harvest from). The plastic sheeting in the first picture should kill off the grass in those areas so that I can get the beds ready for planting. My goal for this year is to grow most of my own herbs and produce. I want to add berry bushes and fruit trees, but I don’t think I’ll be able to make that happen this year. I’m also starting my medicinal garden and put some of the seeds out this past December so that they get all of the temperature changes they need to germinate well. I want to put an addition on the house with a still room and greenhouse. I’m just not sure when I’ll be able to make that happen.

@Jack Hodgson yep! It's huge, we're on 0.7 acres and the only trees right now are the line of evergreens along the back of the property line. I want to put some trees in the front, but haven't started looking yet. Although, I have a couple of bird-planted ones that are about a foot tall that could be red maples that are near the evergreens. I'm toying with the idea of transplanting them just to see what happens. I need to get some better pictures so I can figure out what they are.
