My new planting beds!
This year we expanded my garden again and added 3 new in ground beds and a space for my grow bags. (I do potatoes in grow bags since they're easier to harvest that way.) The first picture is my back yard. Except for my asparagus plot, the beds are all 4' x 8'. The black in the second picture is the walkways. I wanted to put down something other than mulch for them, but I decided that I'd spent enough this spring and will look at it in the future. So in the back yard, I have two raised beds that are mostly onions and herbs. I put garlic and shallots in the ground around the raised beds last fall. The asparagus plot is 2' x 3' and is at the far right in the first picture. The third picture is the main in ground bed along the front of the house (faces south). It's 3' x 33' and is going to be my medicinal garden. Don't ask what all I've seeded there as I honestly don't remember. A lot of them need cold stratification or should be sown in the fall for spring growth, so they got scattered in the late fall. I (literally) just dumped the seeds in a bowl and scattered them along the length of the bed. I really don't care what comes up where since I need to work on plant identification anyway. My rosemary bush is at the far left of that bed and my bay laurel is going into the ground this weekend to the left of the bed. It's about 4 feet tall now and has been in a pot since I got it 2 years ago. The last picture is also in the front yard and I'm in a constant battle to keep the prickly pear cactus from taking over. I still have 3 dianthus plants in it, one of which is pretty big. I also have a couple of lavender plants, 4 Lily varieties, a couple of echinacea plants, and some allium bulbs. I just don't remember where I put the new allium bulbs, so far 3 have started to come up but there should be a couple more in there. I got a bunch of new seeds this spring, so I'll have to decide on where to put those. I have room for a few things in the bed with the cactus, so we'll see.

My new planting beds!

Been working in Cornwall for a few days so been disconnected from my phone. Roaming the UK Rainforests! And gather some lovely branches to add and build this trellis to enter the small kitchen garden. I love adding height and ‘portals’ in gardens, it makes you feel you’ve entered a new space. Like an arrival, now I’m in a new world! Making a garden more magical as it should be

What attracted you to this Group?
I want to know! Like you Skool is new but my experience is great across a few sectors! I grow systems not just gardens! 📈 I’ve had a lot of success growing Gardens in Residential 🏡& Commercial🏙️ Design and fitted urban spaces to grow Mushrooms 🍄&Microgreens 🌱 Drop a subject and let’s tailor this experience around you and your needs. I want to teach you how to grow but also the systems on why and how we look at it so it weaves together. I’ve found that a lot of the secrets to life are woven into a garden and I’m learning daily and it constantly blows me away 🤯

A man after my own heart! This is what I’m using right now, but I like the photo storage box even better. And I LOVE the idea of of using the drying packets!
