Wanted to share a favorite Christmas tune.
Hey do you remember Roxette? Big globally in the late 80s/early 90s with hit's like "The Look", "It Must Have Been Love" "Joyride" and more. Roxette was a duo consisting of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle from Sweden. Sadly Marie passed away a few years go, but Per has been continuing on. A couple years back he released an album of Roxette style tunes under the group name of "PG Roxette" to help differentiate it since Marie was no longer there to help sing the songs. One of the songs from that time was a Christmas song called "Wish You the Best for Xmas" and it's a fun holiday song that really tugs at the heart if you're missing someone during the holiday. In case you haven't heard it before I wanted to share it. And in case you didn't know the original version of "It Must Have Been Love" was a Christmas song. It was re-recorded and changed to strip out the mention of Christmas for it's inclusion in the film "Pretty Woman" where it took over the world. In case you'd like to hear it's original Christmas version which sounds like a slightly less polished version of the big hit version. In any case have a wonderful holiday if you celebrate it and enjoy some Roxette.
