Story time. In 2022 I was asking for advice in a random travel FB group. A lady replied and offered to help me with advice relocating to Bali. The strange thing is.. she wanted nothing in return. She asked to meet up when I landed. I nearly didn't go that day, because she almost seemed TOO nice and helpful. Thank god I did. Meeting her seemed to change the trajectory of my life. We ended up working together at the same job and become basically inseperable. Our kids ended up at the same school in Bali and became best friends! As time went on, I moved back to Melbourne and she stayed in Bali, but we still chat every day! This is a pic of us all on my recent vacation to Bali where we spent hours catching up over dinner on the beach. Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith, because there truly is good people in this world.
