I’m building a children’s book series centred around nervous system literacy for 5–8 year olds called 'My Body Knows'. It started with one book about sensory overwhelm, but it’s naturally expanding into an 8-book series exploring stimming, meltdowns, shutdown, demand anxiety, hyperfocus, boundaries and more — all through a calm, child-led narrative. The aim isn’t behaviour correction. It’s removing shame and helping children understand what their body is doing. I don’t want to “just release books.” I want this to reach schools, therapists, SEND networks and families at scale. For those who’ve taken something from small community project to wider impact: If you were positioning this to go big, what would you focus on early? Brand? Partnerships? Schools first? Pre-orders? PR? Crowdfunding? Something else? How would you go about these things.... I’m open to strategic thinking
