What is the real purpose of Blitz?
Looking into the future, one has to wonder. Why are we doing this? What is the real purpose of the Blitz. It seems to be the person or group or whatever the rules say(I am still trying to find the actual rules) with the most likes win. Is that correct? In my little brain, I would guess they are trying to create engagement. Engagement of what we may ask. I would guess that means good content. Being helpful to new members. Guiding each other. Uplifting the community. In the beginning I was taken on because I don't like everyone's comments. So to be part of it you have to like everyone's comments? Don't get me wrong. I fully understand the principles of helping someone else with likes, and they will more than likely help you by liking whatever you post, regardless of what it was. From the little I have seen in my time in the community I am rather shocked. There is a huge difference between like farming and giving likes for actual useful content. Where did I miss something? Perhaps I totally lost the plot. Set me straight please.
