DAY 101a/5000 DO YOU EASILY GET BORED?
In our previous episode, we talked about getting into awareness with your weakness. The question then becomes; If My weakness is *easily getting bored* . How do I approach it ? First of all, the goal is to diagnose: *Why do they get bored?* People who easily get bored like grandiose missions, they liked to be challenged, they want to feel momentum. You can feel the solution already coming together right? So for someone who easily get bored - that's speaking to me as well; 1) I need to see bigger than what I'm doing; What's the grandiose mission of what I'm doing. 2) I need to be constantly challenged: The challenge will give me something to reach for; helping taking out the boredom. 3) I need to feel momentum; For an easy bored person like me; momentum is my all. The feeling and knowing that you are getting somewhere is a different energy all together and it helps to take out the boredom. So they are three things; 1. Vision 2. Challenge 3. Momentum

DAY 100b/5000: MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE OF VALUE
Today we touch on financial education, not how to save, how to invest but a psychology that is mostly never talked about at least not consistently enough. Our relationship with money. For most of us, subconciously albeit without intention, equate money with greed, evil etc. It might not be too obvious but somewhere deep that relationship exist Until we mend our relationship with money and see it for what it is, we might not progress financially regardless of our savings, investments, business. We should see money as a means of exchanging value. We shouldn't be shy of it. We shouldn't feel less deserving of it. If we feel all these emotions; then how then are we ready to receive it For your own good, don't attach emotions to money, positive or negative. Let it serve as a medium of exchanging value
DAY 100/5000: HE'S PROBABLY NOT NEAR HIS PHONE
What a beautiful day today is. Thanks be to God. And yes, today is our 100th day, yayy. We are going to talk about something very powerful [signpost intended] It's something that will correct 90% of your thinking. And that is _Emotional Reasoning_ Yesterday, if you remember, we talked of emotional thinking and why it's bad. So what then is emotional reasoning. Let me give you a scenario If you waved at someone you know and admire and the person did not wave back. Which of these reasons will sit right with you. 1. He dislikes me 2. He did not see me. 3. Because I did not invite him to the party the last time, he's angry at me. You know any of these reasons could be right but most of us are most least likely to go with the second reason but which is most likely to be the reason. Why this disposition though? Because we are emotional beings and we default to emotional reasoning all the time. But here's the most interesting part Emotions feels concrete, feels real, feels right and thus thus we prefer to reason along with it. But emotions in reasoning creates hubris. They cloud reasoning. The cloud judgment. Also, the most valid reasons most of the time are the least emotional ones. What does this mean for you? It means that whenever you are reasoning; make sure you reason along the least emotional line. This is practiced diligently will save you from uneccessry suffering and chaos. Peace. Celebrate with me cos it's our 100th day 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 A scenario workout for you; If you called someone three times and he didn't call. What reasons should you opt for. 1. He doesn't want to answer my call 2. He's probably not near his phone 3. He's angry with me.

DAY 99/5000 : FIND THAT PROXY
How many times have you found yourself going for a meeting because of item 13 Be truthful to ya self. Did you really go there just because of item 13. Probably not. You most likely used it as a *proxy motivation* Same as the guy who began the prayer meeting so he will be seeing a girl more often. This is the most interesting part. Proxy motivation are very powerful if you know how to use them well You went well maybe to get item 13 but you learnt and was transformed by the event. You began the prayer meeting as a way to see the girl but now you are drawing closer to God. So if you've realized *proxy motivation* removes friction to begin a habit. But to sustain a habit you need to be open to more Intrinsic motivation. The crux of today's message is that, you don't need a real intrinsic motivation to begin a habit. It will be very difficult for you. Because I trinsic motivation have depth and they take time to build. So to build your body, instead of forcing yourself to think you want to look healthy, that's going to take some uphill battling. You can as well just say you want to build body to look scary enough - that can get you started in the gym for real As time goes on, gradually if you are open minded you will definitely find a bigger more Intrinsic motivation. And yes, if you want to motivate someone too, you can use a *proxy motivation* It could be anything ; silly, funny, non sensical. But we are looking at moving the needle. Because apparently, moving the needle is one of the hardest. Find that proxy and use it.
