Staffordshire chamber of commerce tournament

Leek Town FC Casual team competed in the Staffordshire chamber of commerce tournament yesterday and we made it to the semi finals. We were top of our group in the group stages and I only conceeded 1 goal in 7 games! In the semi final we were beaten by the team that went on to be champions, they were just a lot younger and trained by professional players, as we just play casually against each other on a Friday and occasionally have a kick about on a Sunday. However this was a fantastic day and we all enjoyed it! For a bunch of guys who have a kick about on a Friday I think we did well!
