I finally took time out to watch the movie and I’m very impressed by it. I’m used to seeing movies where the young man ends up in jail because of drugs or some other crimes. The Forge showed that a young man doesn’t need to go to prison before changing his life. I wish there were more positive stories like this.

I had never seen the movie The Forge which was referenced in Sundays message. I just finished the movie 🎦 and oh my word!! 1. I am definitely going to be rewatching Sunday service because 2. The movie 🎥 had me crying and praying and examining myself! 3. I am glad that I have sisters, friends, and leaders who will pray with me and for me!!

So we just had powerful virtual worship… praise and worship via singing, invite to give financially in tithes and free will offering to support the vision and ministries of our church and had a bold message from the word by Bishop on going beyond limitations that push us to the margins and coming back in… The question for me is NOT what did I just experience, it’s WHAT WILL I DO WITH WHAT GOD just revealed to me? See, during services we don’t all see the same or feel the same or experience it the same because God reveals to us all differently in the same moment.
