Great 30 min video from Sam Ovens I just watched on productivity. I guarantee you that by watching this it will give you tangible actions that will improve your productivity. In short, to become productive is to REMOVE DISTRACTIONS. These distractions may not be the most apparent though... e.g. cooking, cleaning, doing laundry... things that we have to do. However, these things can be batched all at once. Sam gives the example of going to the grocery store and meal prepping on Sundays (and if you make enough bread, hire a personal chef... I'm not there just yet). However, other distractions you are most likely aware of, such as social medias and notifications on your phone/computer. I have made strides into dampening these, such as deleting instagram and turning off notifications for ALL apps except messages/phone calls. Though there is still work to be done...

- Wake Up.
- Get in pool.
Simple as that. By having distractions, the finite amount of energy we have is dissipated in 10 different directions. We should be honing that energy into one single direction (i.e. Michael Phelps & swimming) and you'll see, it WILL pay off. Those who win are focused individuals!
