I was watching a clip from No I.D. and something he said really stuck with me.
He was talking about how a lot of producers don’t know how to finish — they just have hard drives full of ideas.
That used to be me.
Before I got into the MPC, I had a hard drive full of loops… not finished beats.
Once I learned how to actually finish, everything started to shift.
It’s not about perfection… it’s about trusting yourself, trusting the process, and blocking out the noise.
When it finally feels right, you commit and move on.
That level of comfort and confidence in the process — that’s where I’m trying to get to.
