I cut my teeth in sales knocking doors, I learned very quickly that in order to survive that kind of sales method, you need to develop two things, thick skin and a Positive Mental Attitude. Now, in today's freight market, you need to do the same. It's tough for everyone, so you're not alone. Struggling with prospecting, switch it up....i posted on LI the other day about not cold calling or email blitzing...while this is true, I still prospect, I just do it much different than most.
I record a 15-20 second personal video for my prospect, hide that link as a page on my website, create a QR code and make a post card with beautiful Arizona sunset on it with my company info on the back...along with that QR code...
Email has an open rate of like 37.72% .... you know what has 99% open rate? THE REAL MAIL.
