Your Body Is a Temple; And That's Not Condemnation
Hello,
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?" — 1 Corinthians 6:19
For years, I read that verse and felt shame.
Like I was failing God every time I ate something "bad." Like my body was evidence of my lack of discipline, my lack of faith.
But here's what I've come to understand: God wasn't writing that verse to condemn us. He was writing it to invite us.
To remind us that we are worth caring for. That our health matters not as a performance, but as a form of stewardship.
Stewarding your body isn't about being a certain size. It's about having the energy to show up for your family. The clarity to hear God's voice. The strength to walk out your purpose.
This week, I want to challenge you: What's one small way you can honor the temple God gave you?
Not out of guilt. Out of gratitude. 🙏
Drop a 🙏 below if this shifted something for you. And share this with a sister who needs the reminder.
