So, many of you know that I started at a 9-5 in december.
I haven't talked about though what it is I do exactly.
This is because I was figuring it out myself to be honest 😁
But it has gotten more and more clear and today I met 2 of the biggest clients that we work for. These clients are franchisors and I never realised how genius the franchise model actually is.
When most people hear franchise they think McDonalds and you're right, McDonalds is a franchise. But there are actually many many concepts like it.
So here's the math:
- When a franchisor like McDonalds finds a franchisee that wants to open a McDonalds restaurant they usually sign for atleast 5 years, often they stick around for 10 years.
- A McDonalds restaurant makes atleast €500.000 - €1.000.000 per year in turnover and McDonalds takes 10% on the conservative side (it's usally more). So they get €50.000 - €100.000 per year from this. Do this times 10 and you make a million per franchisee.
- Now it's even more crazy when this same franchisee opens another restaurant, they call these multi-unit owners.
My job is to help franchisors like McDonalds build a machine to find the right franchisees all the time. So when I do my job right I'm providing millions and millions in value.
Pretty cool right? 😁
