ADHD: My Super Power With a Little Kryptonite
Hey everyone, I’m Tim. If ADHD had a poster child who refused to sit still long enough to be photographed, it would probably be me. I grew up thinking my brain was broken, especially with math and dyscalculia, until I realized something powerful. The way my mind bounces, connects, builds, and fires is not a flaw. It’s my super power.
Of course every super power comes with its own brand of kryptonite. Mine shows up as scattered thoughts, overthinking, forgotten tabs, and the occasional “why did I walk into this room” moment. But honestly, that’s what makes this journey exciting. I get to keep learning, keep evolving, and keep sharpening the parts of my mind that help me serve others.
I’ve spent my life working at the intersection of community, business, and connection. From city council meetings to nonprofit work to launching Peak Connections Group and helping business owners build smarter systems, I’ve learned that ADHD is not something I’m fighting against. It’s the fuel behind everything I do. It helps me connect deeply, speak boldly, build creatively, and care fiercely.
I joined this group because I want to hang out with people who get it. People who understand the chaos, the genius, the intensity, and the exhaustion that come with an ADHD mind. I’m excited to learn from all of you, share my own stories, and keep turning this super power into something that helps people and builds better communities.
If you ever need someone who thinks fast, dreams big, and talks with their hands way too much… I’m your guy.
Let’s learn from each other. Let’s grow together. And let’s use every ounce of this beautiful chaos for good.
