Have a big heart
I saw a post that said people with good hearts never win. In the comments, someone replied: “That’s because people with good hearts aren’t in it to win.”
The world defines winning as taking more than you give, protecting yourself at all costs, and leaving first so you don’t get hurt. But people with good hearts play a different game. We show up honestly. We love without strategy. We choose integrity, even if it costs us. We don’t keep score, and we don’t need anyone else to lose for us to feel okay.
We operate with different ideals, systems, and intentions. People with strong hearts can see beyond the accolades - beyond the victories seen in public. Having a big heart is meant to last the test of time.
To lead with kindness. To teach with care. To love despite all the ego in the world.
Maybe we don’t win trophies. But we walk away with a clean conscience, a soft heart, and the ability to love again without becoming bitter.
We weren’t built to conquer; we were built to connect. And that kind of heart changes lives.
So, who’s really winning?
