Coffee Hour is happening in 4 days
Show me your lunch.
I eat breakfast a lot for lunch/brunch, but mostly I eat easy flavorful foods. I love wraps and create versions of them almost daily. These were Korean hot sauce flavored ground pork with sliced zucchini, cheese, fermented garden vegetables and sour cream. Show me your lunch!

Living in the Moment
Hey Friends, I’ve been noticing something lately… before Halloween even arrived, the stores were already filled with Christmas tree Reese’s cups. It made me pause and wonder: why are we always rushing to the next holiday instead of savoring the one we’re in? So I’d love to hear from you: Do you put up a Christmas tree? If so, when do you usually set it up? And do you feel like society pushes us to move on too quickly, instead of enjoying the day we’re in? For me, this isn’t just about decorations, it’s about rhythm, presence, and learning to celebrate the moment we’re living right now. Let’s share our traditions, reflections, and maybe even ideas for how we can slow down and truly enjoy each season as it comes.

November 2025 Moon Phases
Following the moon phases is a gentle first step into learning the ebb and flow of nature, a practice that deepens awareness and enriches your connection to the rhythms that guide both earth and body. Turning your face to the moon is an act humans have carried out for millennia — the ancients read its light and shadows, weaving what they learned into their food, rituals, and daily lives. 🌕 Full Moon — Nov 5 A time of illumination and gratitude. Try: share a meal, write a gratitude list, or take a moonlit walk. 🌗 Last Quarter — Nov 12 A phase for reflection and release. Try: declutter a space, journal what you’re ready to let go of. 🌑 New Moon — Nov 20 A moment for rest and new beginnings. Try: set one intention, cook a simple meal, light a candle in quiet. 🌓 First Quarter — Nov 28 Energy builds and momentum grows. Try: start a small project, meal prep, or commit to one steady habit. Do you notice shifts in your energy or mood during these phases? Which one feels most powerful for you?

History of Eating Healthy
This picture is of my dad, he’s my food and life mentor. He’s 80 years old and walks every day, runs on his gazelle and goes where he wants when he wants. This picture is of him on Mt Shasta. What do you envision for yourself at 80 years old?
