Hi, I’m really happy to be part of this wonderful community! For anyone who doesn’t know me yet, I’m Rolanda. I’m a jeweller, a gemologist, and a certified trainer. I created a handmade jewellery brand called Rolanda Alves Jewels & Gems. Metal and gemstones are at the heart of my work. I use a co-creation approach, so customers help design their own pieces. I have a real passion for gemstones. Three years ago, I started teaching classes, and now I host workshops on gemstones, combining theory and hands-on practice, drawing on what I’ve learned as a bench jeweller and gemologist.

I'm Jelena - Serbian, freshly settled in Cascais, and very happy to be here. My path has been a bit zigzag: ~7 years as a frontend developer, then a leap into yoga teacher training in India, contact improvisation, and somatic movement work. All of it pointed me toward what I'm building now. What I'm building: Syncira, a cycle-aware daily guidance app for women. It blends my tech skills with my love for cycle awareness, somatics, and treating the female body as wisdom rather than a problem. Web MVP is live; mobile app is in progress. What I'm exploring/struggling with: how to build and fundraise as a solo founder without losing the embodied, slow, intuitive way of working that actually makes me good at this. Also - the very real logistics of being a new resident in Portugal while doing all of the above. Really looking forward to meeting all the wonderful women in this community. Hugs to all 🌿

Hello beautiful folks of the Female Founders Breakfast Community! Naomi Mendes-Pouget (she/they) here, of two passionate Cascais Ambassadors! @Tania Timkova is my Cascais (Portugal) partner in crime! My work: I have the most fun being a beacon for the big-hearted feminist misfits, weirdos, square pegs, rebels etc., the system wasn't built for-- to drop the act & together build the new systems we need. I affectionately go by the "CUNTY" Coach. Authenticity is my favourite topic and one I've been studying formally and informally for over a decade. Combine it with leadership and it's a competitive advantage especially in today's age of AI. My current challenge: creating a sustainable and profitable, JOYFUL, energetically-aligned business model based on the above work I love to do most in this world. An ecosystem that feels alive and robust. I am recently realizing I love to speak publicly on topics I'm passionate about. I also love holding space for my people to be their whole authentic selves and we witness breakthroughs all the time, it fills me with life!
