Tomorrow could be too late

Proverbs 27:1 NIV

[1] Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

I consistently make excuses as to why I'm not in the word more. My kids, no time, it's too loud, I have trouble reading, etc. Ultimately, those excuses need to die because tomorrow could be too late for me to "start getting in God's word more."

There will always be something that distracts you. Don't let yourself be an option. If the devil thinks of you as enough of a threat to take you out personally, then congratulations you are one heck of a warrior for God. In my experience, all it takes is a little nudge and my own flesh takes it from there. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Stay in God's word, lean on Him today.
