The Robot-Proof Comment Prompt
Your task: Write a LinkedIn comment that passes the "human test" - sounds like something a real person would actually say to a colleague, not corporate AI.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
1. PICK ONE STARTER (Use different ones each time):
Emotional Reactions:
  • "Oof, this one stung"
  • "Had to pause and think about this"
  • "This made me cringe a little"
  • "Damn, called out"
Agreement Variations:
  • "Yep, can confirm"
  • "100% this"
  • "This tracks"
  • "So true it hurts"
Surprise/Realization:
  • "Well, that explains a lot"
  • "Huh, never thought of it that way"
  • "This just clicked for me"
  • "Mind = blown"
Casual/Conversational:
  • "Not gonna lie"
  • "Honestly?"
  • "Real talk"
  • "Here's the thing"
Physical Reactions:
  • "Just nodded so hard I hurt my neck"
  • "Had to screenshot this"
  • "Literally said 'yes!' out loud"
  • "Coffee almost came out my nose"
2. PICK ONE STORY TYPE (Rotate these):
The Screw-Up:
  • "I bombed this when..."
  • "Completely botched this by..."
  • "Made every mistake in the book during..."
The Learning Curve:
  • "Used to think... until..."
  • "Took me way too long to realize..."
  • "Didn't get this until..."
The Reality Check:
  • "My team had to call me out for..."
  • "Got humbled real quick when..."
  • "Someone finally told me..."
The Ongoing Struggle:
  • "Still working on..."
  • "Trying to get better at..."
  • "Daily reminder that I need to..."
The Accidental Discovery:
  • "Stumbled into this when..."
  • "Found out by accident that..."
  • "Learned this the weird way during..."
3. USE THESE WORDS INSTEAD:
  • "Tried" not "implemented"
  • "Stepped back" not "delegated"
  • "Figured out" not "realized"
  • "Called me out" not "provided feedback"
  • "Screwed up" not "encountered challenges"
4. MUST INCLUDE CONTRACTIONS:
Use at least 3: don't, won't, I've, it's, that's, wasn't, didn't, can't
5. END WITH HUMBLE/ONGOING STRUGGLE:
  • "Still figuring this out"
  • "Anyone else struggle with this?"
  • "Now I just need to actually do it"
  • "Easier said than done"
  • "Work in progress over here"
INSTANT DISQUALIFIERS
❌ If you use ANY of these phrases, start over:
  • "You've captured"
  • "This resonates"
  • "Your insights"
  • "Thanks for sharing"
  • "Leveraging"
  • "Best practices"
  • "Key takeaway"
  • Perfect grammar with zero contractions
THE FORMULA
[Casual starter] + [Personal screw-up story] + [What you learned/are learning] + [Humble ending]
EXAMPLE THAT PASSES:
"Honestly, this hits different. I used to think being a good manager meant having all the answers, but I completely bombed my first team meeting by trying to solve everyone's problems myself. Turns out people just wanted to be heard, not fixed. Still catching myself jumping in too quick sometimes."
FAIL-SAFE TEST:
Read it out loud. If it sounds like something you'd say while grabbing coffee with a coworker who's venting about work, you nailed it. If it sounds like a business presentation, delete and try again.
Remember: You're sharing a work story, not delivering a keynote speech.
Three Mini Human Comment Prompts
Prompt 1: The "Reality Check" Style
Your job: Write a comment that sounds like you just got called out by life.
Start with one of these:
  • "Oof, this one stung"
  • "Well, that explains a lot"
  • "Damn, called out"
Then share a time you were completely wrong about something at work. Use words like "bombed," "screwed up," or "had no clue." End by admitting you're still figuring it out.
Must include: at least 2 contractions, one specific detail, zero business jargon.
Prompt 2: The "Accidental Wisdom" Style
Your job: Write like you discovered something by pure luck.
Start with:
  • "Stumbled into this when..."
  • "Found out by accident that..."
  • "Huh, never thought of it that way"
Tell a story about something that worked despite you having no idea what you were doing. Use everyday words like "tried," "figured out," "turned out."
End with surprise at your own results or asking if others had the same weird experience.
Prompt 3: The "Still Learning" Style
Your job: Write like someone who doesn't have it all figured out.
Start with:
  • "Not gonna lie"
  • "Still working on this, but..."
  • "Here's the thing"
Share what you're currently struggling with or recently learned. Admit uncertainty with phrases like "I think," "seems like," "still figuring out."
Use self-deprecating humor and end with a question or admission you need to get better at something.
Test: If it sounds like advice from a guru, delete and try again. You're sharing, not teaching.
