Simple rule I've been following: have 5 meaningful conversations daily.
Not pitches. Not sales calls. Just genuine conversations with people in your network or new connections.
Could be:
- Commenting thoughtfully on someone's post
- Responding to a LinkedIn message
- Reaching out to reconnect with an old connection
- Having a quick coffee chat
- Jumping on a brief intro call
**The math is simple:** 5 conversations x 5 days = 25 people per week who now know you better.
That's 100+ strengthened relationships per month.
Some will lead to opportunities. Some will become genuine friendships. Others will refer you when the timing is right.
But all of them compound over time.
**The key?** Make it about them, not you. Ask questions. Show genuine interest. Add value when you can.
Question for the group: How many real conversations are you having each day with your network?
What's your approach to staying connected with people?
