Maintaining Top of Mind

I have EngagePro but I'm not using it to it's full strength. How do you all keep the people you are communicating with and new conversations top of mind without losing them in the noise? I have a very large network and obviously, want to focus on those that are engaging. And following up with those who've engaged in the past? To give context, I've been on LI since 2003 (before MS bought it) and have more than 12k connections, 3k on FB and 1k contacts in my phone.... HELP!?!
