Idea for re-upping views on past posts with a poll giving it new life

I got notified that Phil's poll had finished on what would you take if you had to get out quickly. I had already taken the poll and commented but I looked at the results of the poll and commented again about the overall poll results. This should give the post a little bit more exposure - if we all did this it would revive past posts and give us more exposure!
