Hi All,
I wanted to share a HUGE win for me...I hit my LinkedIn goal of 100,000 followers. (that feels crazy to even type out 😃)
Two years ago, I started showing up on LinkedIn with a simple goal:
Share ideas that help people lead better, work better, and live better.
Today, this community has grown to 100,000+ amazing humans and I’m deeply grateful. 🙏
I didn’t get here alone.
So much of what I’ve learned came from the communities that I am a part of.
Those communities (including this one) shared tools, templates, and hard-earned wisdom freely. And reminded me that generosity multiplies.
Thank you for that. Truly.
Three lessons from this journey to 100K:
1/ Consistency compounds. At first, I thought I needed to go viral. I don’t. What works is showing up every day, even when it feels small or ordinary. I started posting every day last October and over time, the work compounds. One post builds trust, ten posts build rhythm, and hundreds build relationships.
2/ Vulnerability connects. The posts where I admitted what I didn’t know or shared mistakes brought the deepest conversations. Being real beats being polished every time.
3/ Community changes everything. The insights, encouragement, and support I’ve received here have made me a better writer, thinker, and leader. This isn’t a solo journey, it’s something where community is needed.
Now, I am always about learning and I’d love to hear from you.
What’s one lesson you’ve learned on your journey that more people need to hear?
Thank you for showing up, for sharing, and for making this space what it is.
