If your diffuser suddenly seems “weak” or you can’t smell your oils as much anymore, it doesn’t always mean something is wrong. Often, your brain has simply adapted to the scent. When an aroma becomes familiar, the mind starts filtering it into the background so it can pay attention to new information. That means your aromatherapy practice may still be supporting your mood, focus, and environment… even if the scent feels less noticeable.
