Cracking the Code on Reaching Quiet Potential Clients on Linkedin
On the networking side, I've been consistently posting and connecting with CEOs, founders, and business owners on Linkedin— but instead of pitching right away, I start with a simple greeting and genuine conversation. A lot of them do end up asking what services I offer, and even when I share without sounding desperate, people appreciate the approach.
That said, most responses sound like: "we have things handled internally," "I'm managing it myself for now," or "we'll reach out when we actually need it."
Here's where I'm stuck — not every potential client is active on LinkedIn or posting content I can engage with or comment on, so it's not always possible to spot their pain points through their posts and offer a solution that way.
On the skills side, here's what I currently bring to the table:
✅ Document Control & Record Keeping – Google Workspace
✅ Compliance & SOP Documentation – Excel-based trackers
✅ Time Tracking & Productivity – Clockify
✅ Basic Graphic Design – Canva
✅ Team Collaboration – MS Teams, Zoom, Teams, Slack
✅ Multiple AI Tools
✅ Vendor & Invoice Coordination – Email, ERP tracking
✅ Data Entry – Excel, ERP systems
Currently learning: Zapier, Trello, Asana, Notion to round out my VA toolkit.
So my question is: what's a more efficient way to actually reach and have real conversations with potential clients — especially those who aren't very active or vocal online?
Would really appreciate your thoughts! 🙏
